The Houston Rockets Starters
Houston Rockets. JAMES HARDEN. A +. In his most complete performance in the Orlando bubble so far, <a rel=. Guard
A. Coming off his worst scrimmage game against the Memphis Grizzlies, <a rel=. Guard. Houston Rockets. RUSSELL WESTBROOK
B +. The good news for the Houston Rockets is that Robert Covington was able to stay on the floor this time around, only committing two fouls on Tuesday. The even better news is his shot remained consistent. Covington nailed 4-of-7 from downtown and 5-of-10 overall to end the night with 16 points. His seven rebounds were also the most on the team nabbed by anyone not named James Harden.. Forward. Houston Rockets. ROBERT COVINGTON
A. On Tuesday, P.J. Tucker did what P.J. Tucker always does: made some threes, pulled down some rebounds, and acted as the team’s defensive anchor and primary communicator. His efforts amounted to nine points, five rebounds, and a steal in 22 minutes. The fact that Mike D’Antoni was able to maintain Tucker’s minutes before the seeding games begin bodes well for the Rockets.. Forward. Houston Rockets. P.J. TUCKER
INC. The biggest sour note in an otherwise encouraging night for the Rockets was the loss of Eric Gordon. Before rolling his ankle and being helped to the locker room, Gordon had a couple of easy buckets but was still struggling from the outside, shooting just 1-of-6. Given he wasn’t able to play more than 15 minutes, he won’t be graded. Best wishes for a quick recovery for Eric.. Guard. Houston Rockets. ERIC GORDON
