The Houston Rockets Bench

C +. Coming off the bench, Ben McLemore shot 3-of-7 from 3-point range and only recorded nine points. While posting a point differential of +14, he was able to knock down some shots but continues to leave a lot of question marks from a defensive standpoint.. Guard. Houston Rockets. BEN MCLEMORE

Houston Rockets. JEFF GREEN. B -. Jeff Green’s performance Sunday night against Milwaukee is similar to that of Ben McLemore. Only giving nine points off the bench off of 3-pointers, Green missed some wide-open looks and provided less than stellar defense against Giannis. It should be noted the veteran presence Green displayed on the court when he was spotted keeping track of his teammate’s fouls.. Forward

C. Austin Rivers, getting the least amount of minutes from the Rockets bench, provided five points and four rebounds. While Rivers did not change the dynamic of the game, he avoided hurting the team by any means with zero turnovers. Overall just an average performance, where more scoring and assists were desired.. Guard. Houston Rockets. AUSTIN RIVERS

The defensive effort for the Houston Rockets has been one of the most surprising things in the NBA Bubble and it has lead to statement-making wins. When this team can implement their flame-throwing offense and cash in on some wide-open threes, the Rockets are a serious championship contender.

Next up for the Houston Rockets, a matchup against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday at 9 PM ET on TNT.
