The Houston Rockets Bench

Houston Rockets. JEFF GREEN. A. Where would the Rockets be without the services Jeff Green has been providing? Green has been the surprise of the season for Houston, constantly making smart decisions on offense while continuing to hit jumpers. His 3-of-10 night from the 3-point line was lower than he’s been shooting, but he’s been on such a role that anything less than an A would just be nitpicking. Green finished with 15 points, four rebounds and two steals.. Forward

C +. Austin Rivers was asked to play more minutes with Russell Westbrook sitting out, but wasn’t that effective in his extended time. Rivers shot just 2-of-10 against the Lakers but did have some nice assists, finishing with five. While he did make five of his six free throws attempted, which shows he had some aggressiveness, that aggressiveness also led to four turnovers.. Guard. Houston Rockets. AUSTIN RIVERS

The Rockets have been putting together more complete games in the Orlando bubble, led by a high-powered offense and a quickly-improving defense. At the halfway mark of their eight seeding games, they now have two days off before getting back to action.
