NBA legend Pat Riley had some interesting comments during a recent interview, which apply to Houston Rockets superstars James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

Miami Heat president Pat Riley has etched himself as one of the true legends of the NBA. Riley transitioned from a stellar playing and coaching career to become one of the greatest executives in the league, as he recently landed Jimmy Butler and Andre Iguodala, both of whom the Houston Rockets were known to have been targeting.

Riley has experienced NBA success on every level in the game, starting out as a collegiate star for the Kentucky Wildcats, to winning a championship with the 1972 Los Angeles Lakers. Riley then moving into coaching and led the Lakers to four titles in the eighties.

Riley has captured three championships since becoming an executive for the Miami Heat, thanks to his ability to reel in superstars such as Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh over the years. As we can see, the man is no stranger to winning.

Speaking of winning, Riley shared some interesting comments about NBA titles compared to individual accomplishments, that can be applied to the Houston Rockets.
