With the Houston Rockets remaining firm on their asking price for James Harden, the Raptors and Nuggets have reportedly emerged as suitors for The Beard.

Although the Houston Rockets entered the season with the circus that was James Harden’s reported trade request, both sides have managed to patch up the situation thus far. Harden and the Rockets have lasted five games into the season without the request becoming a distraction and Harden has remained professional, just like the Rockets thought he would (outside of Harden attending an event that he referred to as a seated dinner.)

All has been quiet on the trade front involving Harden, as the Rockets have stood firm on their asking price, which has reportedly caused several teams to back out of the race (hello Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets).

But although things haven’t been as public on the Harden trade front, several teams that weren’t on Harden’s list have reportedly joined the fray of teams that are vying for Harden’s services, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, who was on ESPN radio and gave an update on Harden’s trade request from the Rockets.
