Here's where your dreams come crashing down to reality. For most of us, that happens - unless you actually are an astronaut.

Or an NBA player.

Beasley is an NBA player. He happens to be the free agent who's been most frequently linked to the Rockets.

He's not a household name like Bridges or Ball, but he is one of the most consistent movement shooters in the NBA. For a team as starved for spacing as the Rockets, he'd make for a perfect acquisition.

He won't change this team's fortunes like Bridges or Ball - at least, not directly. Adding a three-point threat like Beasley should make the young players the Rockets do have more effective. This is a player who spaces the floor, defends with effort and doesn't need the ball.
