Los Angeles Lakers - Taurean Prince

There's a reason why we're naming so many wings. The Rockets could upgrade two rotation spots. They could theoretically find an upgrade over Dillon Brooks and surely find one over Jae'Sean Tate.

Prince is unlikely to replace Brooks. Although, at 39.3%, he's a substantially more reliable floor spacer. Prince is also a rugged defender - if nothing else, he'd permanently banish Tate from the Rockets' rotation.

Orlando Magic - Joe Ingles

Unlike the other teams listed here, the Magic are in a similar position as the Rockets. They're on the rise. So, they aren't likely to part with any of their key pieces.

Could they part with Ingles? Even at 36, he remains one of the best shooters in the league, having canned 43.6% of his 2.4 threes per game in 2023-24. If the Magic have a bigger move in mind, the Rockets could get involved by absorbing Ingles' expiring deal in exchange for minimal assets.
