Dallas Mavericks: Markieff Morris

Honestly, we didn't love any option from Dallas. The recent NBA Finalists don't seem likely to move anyone significant.

We landed on Morris. P.J. Washington, Naji Marshall and Derrick Jones Jr. should block his path to playing time. He's little more than an insurance policy for Dallas, so he should be available.

It seems likely that Ime Udoka would be drawn to his toughness. Morris averaged just 8.3 minutes per game for the Mavericks last year. His days as a rotation regular are likely behind him, but he could be a solid addition to the Rockets' locker room.

Phoenix Suns: Devin Booker

Yup. We went all the way with this one.

The Rockets own the Suns' picks for the foreseeable future. What if the Suns are floundering up at the deadline? Isn't it conceivable that they'd like control of their future back?

Only the Rockets can offer them those picks. Some have suggested that Houston would covet Kevin Durant. If we wanted to get really crazy (OK, fine - we do), we'd suggest that the Rockets may have enough assets to acquire both.

If they're choosing, we'll go with Booker for obvious reasons - he's much younger, and likely more impactful at this stage. If you're a Rockets fan, you should be rooting against the Suns this year.
