#12: Houston Rockets trade third pick, Jae'Sean Tate and Jock Landale for Kevin Huerter and 13th pick with Kings

OK, fine: you'll see the name Tari Eason again. We say it to say this: you won't see the name Tari Eason (for real, this time) again, but you will see the names Jae'Sean Tate and Jock Landale multiple times.

They're both on team-friendly, flexible contracts that make for quality trade fodder. That said, this deal feels like a reach. Huerter is a solid rotation guard, but he's probably not worth moving so far down in the lottery.

Still, the Rockets could be tempted by him. At 6'7", Huerter is a jumbo off-guard. He could join Amen Thompson to form the largest backcourt in NBA history, That's an intriguing proposition.

Generally speaking, Huerter has been a sharpshooter in the NBA. He's a career 38.2% three-point shooter - his 36.1% mark from last year was a regression, but Huerter is likely to get back to his previous form. This is another deal that we wouldn't do, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make any sense.
