1 Trade the Houston Rockets could make with every other lottery team

#10: Houston Rockets trade third pick and Jock Landale for tenth pick and Alex Caruso with Bulls

This one is a no-brainer, right?

We're not sure. Caruso is on an expiring contract. He'll be on one of the best deals in the NBA in 2024-25. After that, Caruso is likely to earn a lucrative deal.

The Rockets may not want to foot that bill. At the same time, it's hard to deny Caruso's fit in Houston. Ime Udoka is surely salivating in the unlikely event that he's reading this. Caruso is perhaps the best defensive guard in the NBA.

Still, we'd probably avoid his next contract. We think? File this one in the "maybe" pile, but if Houston is desperate to make a playoff push next season, they'll like this trade.
