1 Trade the Houston Rockets could make with every other lottery team

#9: Houston Rockets trade third pick for tenth pick and 2025 first-round pick with Jazz

The Jazz have several firsts in the next draft. None of them are likely to land in the lottery. The Rockets should covet them anyway.

In all likelihood, they'd push for the Cavaliers' unprotected first. Still, who knows whether the Timberwolves might regress next year? Either way, this is another case of getting a second bite at a juicier apple in 2025.

As with the Thunder deal, this will depend on whether the Jazz love a higher-ranked prospect. They're a team at a crossroads. The Jazz have put a mediocre group around Lauri Markkanen. Given his age, they could turn to either the present or the future.

If they want a soft rebuild, bringing in a blue-chip prospect to pair with Markkanen could make sense. Otherwise, Utah may be looking to trade out of the draft instead of up in it.
