4. Austin Rivers
Austin Rivers joined the Rockets at the perfect time, as the franchise was hindered by injuries during the 2018-19 season, which birthed the unguardable tour by James Harden. Rivers played well enough to land another year in the Space City.
In 2019-20, Rivers averaged 8.8 points and 2.6 rebounds, while making 35.6 percent of his long-range attempts. Rivers dropped a career-best 41 points in the bubble against the Sacramento Kings.
Rivers has played for three different teams since leaving the Rockets and finds himself out of work now after occupying a reserve guard role for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2022-23.
