3 Free agents the Houston Rockets could sign to replace Reggie Bullock
1. James Johnson
Recent Rockets acquisition Steven Adams was named one of the toughest players in the NBA. He was the second-last player that opposing players would want to fight.
Adams is huge. He's seemingly carved from rock. Still, he doesn't have a legitimate MMA background. That would be James Johnson - the toughest player in the league. Why not roster both?
Will Johnson accept Bullocks' 9.5 minute per game rotation spot? Frankly, he may be content with less. At 37, Johnson is on his way out of the NBA.
Throw his stats out the window. The Rockets would strictly be adding him to the locker room. If they want to spend their last roster spot on continuing to establish their toughness, they couldn't do better than Johnson.
Even if nobody's setting off fireworks when they sign him.
