2. Jeff Green
Different vet: same story. We'd like to see Green back in 2024-25 We'd also like to see less of him.
It seems that the Rockets are likely on the same page when it comes to Green. He spent 23% of his minutes at the 5 in 2023-24. With Steven Adams set to join the squad, Green is likely to lose a lot of those rotational minutes.
Meanwhile, the return of Tari Eason should eat into him time at the 4. Green may not be on the court very often in 2024-25. Why do we care if he's on the team?
Well, the man affectionately known as Uncle Jeff has felt like a positive influence on this group. Green has seen every imaginable situation in the NBA. There's merit in keeping him around for another season to share more of his wisdom with this team's young core.
