3 Lottery talents Rockets should monitor in best-case scenario
3. Matas Buzelis
From a talent standpoint, Matas Buzelis may possibly be the best player in this draft class. Granted, his lack of a motor is a great concern.
He doesn't quite play like his hair is on fire and he doesn't always get the competitive juices flowing like you'd like. Defensively, he can be a true rim protector, as he possesses unmatched length and quickness.
He's a highly switchable defender, which is perfect for the Rockets' style of play.
He's very athletic also. However, he'll need to bulk up and add strength to his thin frame, if he expects to be a defensive anchor.
This will also help him play through contact.
And has touch on the glass, offensively, while also being an underrated playmaker, although his handle needs work.
However, Buzelis will need to work on his long-range shot, as he's made a measly 27 percent from three this season.
Although Rockets fans may be turned off by the G-League Ignite, due to Jalen Green's inconsistent play, the 6-foot-10 Buzelis would be a real gem for the franchise.
