The NBA's free agency period largely came and went, with each of the major players agreeing to deals within the first 24 hours. The Houston Rockets were expected to be one of the league's big spenders, and they ultimately lived up to the billing, adding four players within the first day.

The Rockets went into the offseason with the goal of adding former Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks, former Toronto Raptors guard and NBA champion Fred VanVleet, and former Milwaukee Bucks center and NBA champion Brook Lopez. The Rockets nabbed two of their three targets, and added former Denver Nuggets big man and NBA champion Jeff Green, along with Jock Landale of the Phoenix Suns.

All in all, the Rockets got two of their three main targets, with Lopez being the lone exception. But according to Lakers Twitter, the Rockets struck out 100 percent, because they missed out on Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura.
