Dorian Finney-Smith

Finally, we land on the most high-profile suggestion. Unlike the other players on this list, Finney-Smith could be costly.

That doesn't mean he wouldn't be worth the cost. Finney-Smith is one of the stronger 3-and-D wings in the NBA. It also feels likely that he'll be available throughout the year.

After all, the Nets just traded Mikal Bridges. They also re-acquired their own draft capital from the Rockets. The Nets have an incentive to lose, and Finney-Smith is a winning player.

These two organizations have a history of making trades together. The Rockets will be vying for the playoffs in 2024-25, and Finney-Smith would help their push. If they see room in the rotation for him, they should consider adding him.

Unless they're keeping their assets for a star player, that is.
