2. Boban Marjanovic
File this under the no-fun category, I know, it's not pleasant to think about Boban Marjanovich not being on the Rockets' roster.
The vibes are immaculate when he's in the locker room and around the team. And he's a great person overall. All of that is important, for sure.
But he's limited at this stage of his career in what he can offer this Rockets team on the court. He can serve as an end-of-the-bench reserve and soak up 5-8 minutes a night like last season (5.5 minutes in 2022-23).
Or maybe he can check in when the game has already been decided.
But is that necessary? Is his presence a make-or-break one for the franchise?
Certainly not. The Rockets could distribute those minutes between Jeff Green and Jock Landale and they wouldn't miss a beat.
And truthfully, it's probably time for the 35-year-old center to hang it up and become a full-time State Farm actor.
