1. Gary Trent Jr.

Gary Trent Jr. seems to be a lock for a new uniform, as he opted into his final year, paving the way for the Raptors to deal him for something or lose him in free agency for nothing at all. The 25-year-old is a great 3-point shooter, as he holds career averages of 38.7 percent from deep, and is shooting 41.7 percent from three this season on 5.5 attempts.

He's also one of the best in the league at knocking down uncontested long-range shots.

Trent isn’t just a long-range sniper though, as he’s also a threat from the mid-range.

And he has a very high basketball IQ, which makes him a perfect play in almost any situation. Granted, I know Rockets coach Ime Udoka wants the team’s identity to be based on tough defense and although Trent isn’t a lockdown defender, he’s not a traffic cone either.

And his handle has improved significantly over the years.

All told, his offensive juice on the second unit would be profound (11.5 points as a reserve in Toronto this season), even if he does serve a just a rental for the remaining half of the season.
