4 Under the radar free agency targets for the Houston Rockets
2. Jordan Nwora
About that shooting specialist...
Granted, Nwora had a down year from deep last year. He shot 34.7% on 2.8 attempts per game. That's perfect - it should depreciate his value. The Rockets could get Nwora at a low cost.
Two teas ago, he shot 40.8% on 3.4 attempts per game. That's elite territory. Nwora is a medicore defender who can't create shots, but he's looked like an top-tier standstill shooter throughout much of his NBA career.
What else do the Rockets need? If they sign Nwora and he can't crack the rotation, his contract should render that a non-issue. On the other hand, his ability to space the floor could open up the offense for others. If nothing else, he's worth taking a flyer on.
