4. Dario Saric

There's shooting, and then there's floor spacing. Any three-point threat who can play the 5 shifts the geometry of the floor, even if they aren't among the league's best shooters.

With that said, Saric shot 37.6% from deep last year. He hit 39.1% of his threes in 2022-23. Saric has developed into a reliable shooter, but don't mistake him for a specialist.

Saric averaged 4.7 assists per 75 possessions last year. He's a strong passer for a big. The Rockets coud slot him in at the 5 and run some of the actions from the elbow that they run with Alperen Sengun.

Sure, the frontcourt is looking crowded. The Rockets landed Adams. Still, they could add Saric and allow themselves to mix-and-match their rotation based on their opponent.

You don't need to be a genius to see the advantage there.
