4. Bogdan Bogdanovic

If the Rockets acquire Bogdanovic, it may be a corollary effect of another trade.

Think about it. The Hawks are strongly rumored to have an interest in Donovan Clingan. He should be available with the third pick. If the Rockets prefer Alexandre Sarr, they could move the third pick, some contract(s), and a lightly protected future first for the first pick and Bogdanovic.

Yet, Bogdanovic would be key to the Rockets as well. He certainly qualifies as a floor spacer. Bogdanovic connected on 37.4% of his 8.1 three-point attempts per game in 2023-24. He's got two seasons under his belt shooting 40% from long-range or better.

Bogdanovic is also functional as a secondary ball-handler. If the Rockets aren't interested in him, it'll be due to his questionable defensive abilities. Is there a competent defender with a similar skillset?
