4. Wenyen Gabriel
Wenyen Gabriel has carved out a solid NBA career, despite going undrafted in 2018. The 26-year-old has been on six teams in just four seasons and continues to garner interest around the league.
Although Gabriel is a bit undersized for a big man (6-foot-9), he has a high defensive motor that Ime Udoka could unleash. In addition, Gabriel is a serviceable defender.
Granted, Gabriel doesn't offer much on offense, as he's a subpar long-range shooter (31.9 percent career average), he's a good rebounder, which would benefit a Rockets team that ranks 18th in rebounds this season.
Gabriel is a high-energy player who hustles and possesses defensive switchability, who happens to have a 7-foot-1 wingspan. In addition, he's better than advertised when playing drop coverage, which has become the default for big men.
