Jae’Sean Tate has been the subject of trade talks amongst Rockets fans for years. Those who are against dealing him are generally reluctant because of his hustle and hard-nosed defense.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham gave the perfect summation of the 28-year-old forward.

"Jae'Sean Tate, man, is just a young bull. Like, he's just a Swiss Army knife and is just a bowling ball. He's tough. He plays a tough brand of defense."

Tate is an incredibly energetic defender who can be too aggressive at times and gets called for fouls more than he’d even like. In addition, he leaves Rockets fans wanting more on the offensive end.

Since Darvin Ham speaks so highly of him, maybe the Lakers could give the Rockets a call, as he’d be a much better fit on the Lakers than the Rockets, who have Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason, which makes Tate expendable.
