6. Pat Connaughton
Pat Connaughton is far from a star, and that's okay. He doesn't need to be one in order to play his role well.
Connaughton has been pivotal for the Milwaukee Bucks' second unit and he posesses a skillset that every team would love to have on their roster. The 30-year-old is a viable 3-point threat- 35.9 percent for his career- and is a plus defender.
In addition, Connaughton brings championship experience, which would be very beneficial for a young Rockets team that hasn't been a contender since 2019-20. Connaughton is coming off his worst season from an efficiency standpoint, as he made just 39.2 percent of his shots, 33.9 percent of his treys, and 65.9 percent of his free throws, but that season should be considered an anomaly.
Connaughton was in and out of the lineup due to injuries, which hindered his play. Because of his regression in 2022-23, the Bucks won't have a steep asking price for the NBA champion. Oladipo and a second-round pick should do it for the Rockets, and especially after the Bucks' loss of draft compensation from the Damian Lillard trade.
