The Houston Rockets have started the season with a 18-16 start through the first 34 games. The Rockets have built their brand on playing tough defense, as they rank 3rd in defensive efficiency thus far.

The Rockets rank ninth in the Western Conference and are on pace for 43 wins, which would be significantly better than anyone would've expected.
