Every Houston Rockets player in history to wear #4
Danuel House Jr.
Finally, we're (almost) back where we started. The undrafted House Jr. played with the Rockets for four seasons between 2018-19 and 2021-22.
House Jr. was one of those 3-and-D wings who was inconsistent in both areas. In 2018-19, he shot 41.6% from deep. He wouldn't reach those heights again, but he was mostly a solid shooter.
The defense was inconsistent. House Jr. was athletic enough to guard multiple positions, but his defensive awareness came and went. In time, he'd be forced to cede his beloved number to a younger Rocket.
Jalen Green
What more can we say about Green?
At times, he looks like a future superstar. At other times, he looks like a long-term sixth man. He's been painfully inconsistent, but we can't give up on him just yet.
The upcoming season is a pivotal one for Green. He needs to establish a baseline for production. If Green can't deliver a solid performance more often than not, his future with the team will be in jeopardy. It's time for him to find his NBA footing:
This will be his fourth season.
