Veteran FA targets for Houston Rockets: Bruce Brown

Bruce Brown, who spent time playing with James Harden in Brooklyn during the 2020-22 seasons, could also emerge as a valuable veteran option for the Houston Rockets this offseason. Brown is having quite the run with the Denver Nuggets and while it will be expected for the team to have interest in re-signing the gritty guard, the Rockets should absolutely try to pry him away from Denver.

Brown is in the midst of the best season of his career. He averaged 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game on 48 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent shooting from 3-point range in the regular season with similar numbers throughout Denver's NBA Finals run.

The 26-year-old combo guard could be real weapon for the Rockets off the bench next season. Even though he hasn't been in the league long, he would still work as a veteran presence off the bench for the Rockets. He could bring some stability for the team in a reserve role and some much-needed playoff experience (considering that's the ultimate goal for Houston next season).
