The Houston Rockets face the Utah Jazz on the road on Wednesday, October 26. The Rockets beat the Utah Jazz at home 114-108 on Monday night to secure their first win and take their season record to 1-3. The loss was the Jazz’s first and takes their record to 3-1.

Even with the loss, the Jazz have been the surprise of the young season. Their loss to the Rockets was on the second night of a back-to-back. Expect them to come out flying back home in Salt Lake City. These are the odds, injury reports, and starters for the Rockets vs Jazz’s October 26 matchup.

TyTy Washington is listed as out again after missing the first four games. Bruno Fernando will miss his third straight game with a left knee issue. Alperen Sengun will miss his second consecutive game with an illness. 

Jae’Sean Tate is listed as questionable for the Wednesday night game after missing the first four games of the season with an ankle injury. 

The Jazz’s only listed injury is Udoka Azubuike. He has begun practicing again, but a timetable for his return has not been established. 

Houston Rockets vs Utah Jazz starters

The Jazz started Lauri Markkanen, Kelly Olynyk, Jordan Clarkson, Mike Conley, and Jarred Vanderbilt against the Rockets on Monday night. 

The Rockets started Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr., Kenyon Martin Jr., Jabari Smith Jr., and Eric Gordon against the Jazz. Martin got the nod at power forward as Smith made his first start at center. With Sengun and Fernando still out, Smith should get the start at center again. 

The wildcard is Jae’Sean Tate. If he’s available, he may slide into the power forward spot instead of Martin. The Rockets could also opt to bring him off the bench to slowly build up his minutes.
