Positive Jalen Green development for Rockets ahead of season

There should be no question about Rockets guard Jalen Green in the physical department heading into the 2022 season. This dude looks ready.

There is no player on the Rockets that is more important than Jalen Green in 2022. While no one should have any lofty expectations about what this team is actually going to do in the win column, almost all of those wins are going to have to come from excellent Jalen Green games.

This guy is the current star on the team. We aren't looking ahead or at what other players could become, although there are plenty of bright spots on the roster. In the present, this team is going to live and die by the second-year guard.

While his shooting was also good, Green had incredible success when finishing at the rim, and it looks like that prospect just got even more likely with some new pictures coming out of Green's bulked-up frame.

This version of Jalen Green look's like he ate last year's Jalen Green, and it couldn't come at a better time for the Rockets.

This year won't be the one that has people on hot seats, but there are going to be plenty of questions about the construction of this roster if Houston finishes with the worst record in basketball again. Jalen Green ensuring his ability to stay healthy and improve his game in the paint with this extra 5-10 pounds of muscle is going to pay out in a major way.

The exciting guard duo for the Rockets just got that much more exciting. Keep an eye on Jalen Green to do some big things this year as he finds new ways to take advantage of the competition after all the hard work he put in this summer.
