1. Alex Sarr, Perth

Sarr isn't just number one in these rankings. He's number one in most mock drafts. Sarr isn't a consensus number-one pick, but he feels like the most likely player to hear his name called first.

So, the Rockets would likely need some lottery luck to land Sarr. Alternatively, they could perhaps trade up to select him. Either way, we're just looking at the prospects we like for the Rockets.

We love Sarr for them. His ability to defend in space is his calling card. Sarr isn't a knockdown shooter, but he does have some potential to space the floor.

He could play next to Sengun long-term. Alternatively, he could represent a change in direction for Houston. Regardless, Sarr is talented enough to draft and figure out later.
