Once again, we're looking at a primary ball-handler with a potentially broken jumper. Remember: this is arguably the worst of the last decade.

Still, there's intrigue with Topic. He's a sneaky-good athlete with a strong handle. At 6'6" (depending on who you ask), he's got the plus positional size that teams covet in 2024.

We don't like his fit with the Rockets - we're on the record as having said that. We'd prefer to see the Rockets continue to develop Thompson as a primary ball-handler.

Still, someone is getting a potential star in Topic. Time will tell whether his jumper develops, or whether he's athletic enough to compensate if it doesn't. Still, if we're strictly looking at potential, Topic ranks high in this class.
