2. Chandler Parsons
You may know Parsons as a social media blowhard. Fair enough. That said, he was a pretty good NBA player in his heyday.
Most of that heyday came as a member of the Rockets. They selected Parsons with the 38th pick in the 2011 NBA draft. By 2013-14, he was averaging 16.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists for the Rockets.
Parsons was a dynamic offensive player. At 6'9", his ability to space the floor and make plays for teammates made him a rare commodity. Perhaps that's why the Mavericks rewarded him with a contract that the Rockets didn't want to match in the summer of 2014.
Injuries would keep Parsons from ever justifying that deal. Still, when Dallas gave it to him, it felt reasonable. If not for the next player on this list, Parsons would be the best value draft pick in Houston Rockets history.
