3. Cam Whitmore

If anything, it's concerning that Whitmore doesn't rank higher on this list.

A sophomore should be dominant in Summer League. We couldn't describe Whitmore's performance that way. His 16.7 points per game were solid, but his 38.3% shooting from the field was poor, and his 7.1% shooting from long-range was abysmal.

Still, Whitmore flashed some growth in Summer League. Whitmore averaged 4.3 assists and just 1.3 turnovers per game. For a player who's developed a reputation for excessively calling his own number, that's a meaningful development.

Whitmore also managed an impressive 3.3 steals per game here. It seems 3 was the magic number for Whitmore this summer - that's how many games he played in Summer League as well. It's entirely possible that Whitmore simply had a shooting slump. Still, his poor shooting keeps him lower on this list than fans would likely have hoped.
