3. Team that makes perfect sense: Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers have been a very entertaining team this season. Their formula has been easy: outscore their opponent. And hey, that's one strategy.

At the end of the day, the team with more points wins. The Pacers rank first in points at 126.4 per game and first in offensive rating, so again, it's a strategy that's been effective (18-14 and sixth-best in the Eastern Conference).

However, they don't even attempt to make life difficult for opponents, as they rank 26th in defensive efficiency. Having an elite defender like Tate would make a world of a difference for Pacers coach Rick Carlisle.

Tate's hustle would make him a favorite under Carlisle and his ability to cut to the basket would be perfect, while playing alongside Tyrese Haliburton, who is averaging a league-best 12.7 assists. Haliburton's offensive gravity would create an open lane for Tate.
