Tari Eason is going to be a monster for the Houston Rockets. The best way to get this rookie to turn into that monster is actually giving him minutes.

You would be hard pressed to find a player on the Rockets that has looked better through the first three games than rookie Tari Eason. Eason has been a points, boards, and defensive machine in his decent minutes in the preseason, and everyone is starting to see that this usage shouldn't stop here.

With one game left in the preseason, it really feels like Eason is on the cusp of making a statement that the Rockets can't ignore; play me.

How anyone could come to a different conclusion is beyond this writer.

Eason is playing at a level near a force of nature, and a team like Houston can't afford to sit on him for the time being.

No one is saying starting minutes just yet. We get that these things can take time to make sure everyone is acclimated to the speed and the vision of the team, but it would also be silly to say that Eason isn't making a Hell of a case to be on the court.

If we start to see more of this in the regular season after another decent showing in the final game of the preseason, there is a very real chance that the Rockets will start to feel the pressure on what to do with the young star.

It makes sense that Houston wants to get veteran guys like Eric Gordon, Jae'Sean Tate, and Kenyon Martin Jr. on the court, but there is no way on the planet that you can keep Tari Eason off the court when he is playing at this level.
