Yesterday, Bleacher Report posted some interesting odds of every NBA team to win the title.

In their post, the Houston Rockets were given 25-1 title odds for next season. These were the fifth-best odds in the league according to them. In first, of course, were the Golden State Warriors at 5-6 odds to win it all. They are followed by the Cleveland Cavaliers (4-1), Boston Celtics (11-1), and San Antonio Spurs (15-1). Though fifth best odds may seem a little low, the Rockets are still ahead of teams like the Jazz, Raptors, and Wizards.

If what Daryl Morey said was true about having something up his sleeve, then the Rockets should see those odds increase by the end of the summer. What can the team do to help those chances?

How the Rockets can increase these odds

The more moves the Rockets make this summer, the higher the odds of them topping Golden State will get. You have to remember that the Rockets still won 55 games this year on the back of their one star James Harden. Bleacher Report says to “lock them [the Rockets] in for another 55 wins if they don’t do anything unexpected.” Finding someone who will push the team over the edge is imperative for Houston.

There are definitely quite a few options at which the Rockets can look. The popular choice out there right now is Chris Paul, who would definitely help the team. His leadership would be essential to the Rockets and maybe he can finally get beyond the second round. Another great pickup for Houston would be Paul Millsap. He can stretch the floor out well and play above-average defense in the paint. What does Morey have in store for Free Agency? July 1 cannot come any faster if you are a Rockets fan.
