NBA Power Ranking Lists: How Pundits Rank Houston Rockets Week 23

The Houston Rockets entered week 23 clinging to the eighth seed and did what they’ve done all season: beating tough teams and losing a game they should have won.
Week 23 of the 2015-16 season is in the books and with that the new NBA Power Ranking Lists are out, so lets take a look at where the Houston Rockets were ranked.
In Week 23 the Houston Rockets did what they’ve done all season by beating the Cavaliers after trailing by 20 points, but then they suffered a loss to the reeling Bulls squad prior to coming back with a huge win over the Thunder.
They’ll be tested again in week 24 with games with two games versus sub par lottery teams (Suns and Lakers) and a tough divisional match-up with the Mavericks.

USA Today’s Jeff Sagarin ever present crazy compilation of stats provides input into the Rockets inconsistency. Still they sit right around the point Clutch City would cringe at as it’s just above or below the cut off line of top 16 teams. Then again that’s how they’ve performed all season … enough said.
