By Coty Davis
According to multiple reports, several teams around the league have their eyes on Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley.
The NBA trade deadline is less than 24 hours away and every team around the league is trying to make a splash, including the Houston Rockets.
After stating that he may not be too aggressive in a recent interview with the Houston Chronicles, the past 24 hours have told a different story for Daryl Morey and the Rockets.
Following the trade that sent Corey Brewer and their 2017 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lou Williams, multiple reports have stated that Houston’s top-tier defender, Patrick Beverley, may be on the move too.
According to ESPN’s Calvin Watkins, Houston has been approached by the Bulls, Knicks, and Cavaliers with trade proposals for Beverley.

Over the past few days, the Rockets have expressed their interest in adding another versatile forward to their roster.
They already made headlines in trying to acquire Wilson Chandler, and recent reports indicate that they have their eyes on Cleveland’s Iman Shumpert.
With Cleveland in need of another playmaker, this is a trade Rockets fans may want to keep an eye on.
Patrick Beverley has been great for the Rockets since he emerged as a starter a couple of years ago, and Morey should be apprehensive about letting him go. His tenacity is part of what makes Houston intimidating, and not many players bring the energy that he does.
