Houston Rockets: Luc Mbah a Moute posts historical plus-minus
By Michael Knight
On Wednesday against the Nuggets, one Rockets forward had a game for the ages.
Luc Mbah a Moute has been one of the key players off of the bench for the Rockets this season. He has done everything from guarding all positions to making 3s.
Against the Denver Nuggets the other night, he had a historical game. He posted a plus-minus of +57, the best by any player in the last 20 years. That means that the Rockets outscored the Nuggets by 57 points in Mbah a Moute’s 26 minutes. That is absolutely insane.
Luc’s game
Luc Mbah a Moute had a pretty nice game off of the bench for Houston besides the ridiculous plus-minus.
He finished with 13 points and 4 rebounds on 5/5 shooting (3/3 on 3s) and also recorded 4 steals. The way he can play defense on anyone needed AND shoot the 3 is incredible for the way the Rockets want to play. The Rockets are a team that switches on almost every screen, so having players like Luc Mbah a Moute and P.J. Tucker are perfect for the system. Mbah a Moute has also found himself playing point guard at times this year when Chris Paul was hurt.

Luc was asked to have a bigger role on Wednesday when Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson were out for the Rockets. He was able to answer that and then some. He continues to prove why he is the best value in the NBA. Houston was able to sign Mbah a Moute for just the minimum this summer. Daryl Morey for Executive of the Year?
Chris Paul was happy
Chris Paul was pretty excited for his teammate. In our interview with Luc at the beginning of the season, he expressed how nice it is to have Chris Paul on this team, a player he played with last year in Los Angeles.
That feeling when you make HISTORY!! Congrats @mbahamoute ??? pic.twitter.com/8v1gzvx916
