Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey recently joined SportsTalk 790 to discuss the NBA’s status, the NBA Draft, and much more.

We’ve all been dying for NBA action, and it feels like it’s been a year since the Houston Rockets last took the court. Sure this is an exaggeration, as it hasn’t been a month since they last played, but it’s fast approaching that.

These days our best chance of seeing the Rockets on the court again comes in the form of the NBA 2K tournament, as the Rockets got back to their winning ways in the opening round, against a legitimate contender. Unfortunately, it seems like this is what we’ll be left with for the near future, as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Russell Westbrook may not even be in the NBA’s upcoming game of H-O-R-S-E.

Rockets GM Daryl Morey recently joined SportsTalk 790’s The A-Team with Adam Wexler and Adam Clanton to talk about the potential return of the NBA, the NBA Draft, Rudy Tomjanovich‘s Hall of Fame induction, and much more. In case you missed it, we’ll provide you with the transcript of the interview below, as we always do.

Let’s get started.
