It’s been a rather dramatic several days for a select number of teams in the NBA’s Western Conference, and your very own Houston Rockets have been nowhere near the drama. The Rockets have reached a place of positivity, giving fans reason for optimism.

Surprised to be reading that after the last several years? I know. I’m equally as surprised to be typing it.

Granted, not everything has been perfect, as the Rockets have had several players underperform thus far.

2 Western Conference foes show just how good Rockets have been all-around.

And although Fred VanVleet has been well-worth every penny of his $128 million contract, he tends to get tunnel vision more often than not and force feeds Rockets center Alperen Sengun.

And the Rockets have been viciously hit with the injury bug, as Tari Eason has been limited, while Dillon Brooks has been out with an oblique injury, with no designated return timetable.

Although these things have been aggravating, two Western Conference foes have had it much worse, as they’ve been dysfunctional and all out of whack.
